The Act on Registration and Evaluation of Chemical Substances, known as K-REACH, was promulgated by the Ministry of Environment of Korea (MoE) and came into force on 1 Jan 2015. The Regulation was then revised and the amendments came into effect on 1 Jan 2019 with the definition of a road map for the management of the existing and/or new substances.
